Float and Boat Trips

Full-Day Float

$400 for 2, $300 for 1

Do you like standing to chuck streamers all day, the precision presentation and control a boat provides when nymphing and casting dries, or the ability to cover miles of river in a day? We’ve got you covered. Jump in Charter The Berkshire’s 13′ Stealthcraft Sniper to drift through the mountain wilderness of western Massachusetts and chase trout, northern pike, bass, and shad.

Float trips are designed to get you fishing in the skinniest water around, in valleys too steep and far to hike, and too deep to wade. Our drift boat provides a more stable casting platform and more comfortable ride than a raft, allowing you to focus on fishing and the beautiful wilderness around you, not your balance.

Regularly floated rivers are the Swift River, Deerfield River, Connecticut River, and the Housatonic River, with many more throughout the region frequented at peak times.

A full-day float trip is a minimum of 8 hours, comes with lunch, snacks, and drinks, and includes all gear.  $400 for 2, $300 for 1.

Half-Day Float

$300 for 2, $200 for 1
